We are called to love our neighbor (Matthew 25), defend the rights of the poor and needy (Proverbs 31), and to seek justice for the fatherless ( Psalms 65 + 82, Deuteronomy 10, and Isaiah 1). Hopewell UMC has taken up this charge by making the hard-working foster parents in the Upstate a focused ministry. We want to give these families an opportunity to meet, share ideas, build friendships and offer our support.
